Magazine Articles
Paddles, January 2006, Issue 112
The first of two related articles By Tim Burne about the mission down the Song-Kol river, covering the lower gorge. It involved a lot of portages, but remains one of the highlights of the trip.
Paddles, February 2006, Issue 113
The second article By Tim Burne about the mission down the Song-Kol river, covering the upper and harder gorge section. It took 8 hours to cover the 8km...
Playboating, Issue TBC
Another article by Tim on the epic multi-day that was the Naryn. The mag has gone to town on the graphics, the highlight of which is a rather large disembodied head of James! The issue will be available from the playboating site.
Canoe Focus, February 2006
A general article about the trip as a whole written by Dave. A picture of Rob and Phil even made the front cover - I'm famous!! The issue will be available from the canoefocus site.
[Sneak preview not yet available]
