One of the finest exports from Holland... Having been lucky enough to have lived all over the world he picked up paddling along the way and learnt to roll when he was thirteen. He has paddled in Italy, Austria before moving just north of Edinburgh three years ago, leading to plenty trips into the highlands and islands. Originally a surf kayaker, he represented Scotland as a junior at the World Kayak Surf Championships in Ireland in 2003 and earned Gold. More recently he got his SRT and worked as a safety kayaker in Tayside picking up his game on the rivers too.
…and hasn’t swum as recently as Rob just yet. Ed: the cheek!
